Delaware’s Japanese Language Lab was created out of a desire to help those who wish to study Japanese Language and Culture in Kent County, Delaware; but are unsure of how or where to begin.

If you live in Delaware, chances are that you’re probably aware of some of the limitations residents face when it comes to options and the availability of things. This occurs throughout the state to varying degrees, but in my opinion, this occurs most often in the seat of our capital, Kent County.

This often results in missed opportunities for Kent County residents who may be unable to travel to Sussex or New Castle counties regularly to attend classes, lessons, trainings, events, etc.

Japanese language lessons and conversational opportunities are very limited in general throughout Delaware and the purpose of Delaware’s Japanese Language Lab is to provide the first step in the journey for anyone in Kent County and the surrounding communities who want to learn about the Japanese language and Japanese culture.
